AratheJay Embarks on a Journey of Faith and Fame in Debut Album ‘The Odyssey’

Ghanaian rising star AratheJay has unveiled his highly anticipated debut album, ‘The Odyssey,’ a 17-track narrative that chronicles his journey through struggle, faith, and the pursuit of stardom. Following his well-received 2024 debut ‘Finding Nimo Series: The Capsule’ and high-profile collaborations with Black Sherif and Bella Shmurda, the masked singer delivers a compelling and deeply personal project that solidifies his place as one of Ghana’s most promising talents.

Built on a slick Afropop foundation, ‘The Odyssey’ explores themes of divine guidance and self-discovery, with tracks like “Zion” and “Cover Me” reflecting AratheJay’s unwavering faith. Yet, the album also showcases his versatility—songs like the playful “Only Fans” and the vibrant “Alhaji Popping” reveal an artist equally comfortable crafting laid-back anthems for nights out.

The project also includes standout collaborations, with Stonebwoy adding depth on “Talisman,” while Beeztrap KOTM and O’Kenneth bring energetic flair to “Ahuofe.” Kenyan artist Savara also joins in on the romantic “Say I Do,” enriching the album’s cross-cultural appeal.
