Multiple award-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage as Burna Boy has made headlines for an alleged club shooting by his security entourage.
An American woman who was involved in the altercation has provided an update on the events of that night.
The lady, who goes by the Instagram account @nemebriella_, used her story to recount the incident, claiming that Burna Boy’s security guys shot her partner and his companion.
Not very long ago, Nigerian Police Force issued a formal statement regarding the gunshot that allegedly implicated the Grammy-winning act’s security men, as well as confirming that the policemen involved in the case had been held pending inquiry.
They were in Nigeria for a childhood friend’s wedding, according to the lady, and decided to go clubbing at Club Cubana on June 8, 2022. She claimed that one of Burna Boy’s pals approached their table and offered to excuse her so she could see the singer, but she declined because she was with her partner. Burna Boy’s friend apparently returned several times, which allegedly triggered a reaction from someone in the lady’s camp, resulting in the brawl that eventually led to the death of the lady.
Burna Boy was rushed out of the club by some of his security men after the mayhem, according to her tweet.
