U.K based Nigerian rapper and singer, Darkoo has finally dropped her eagerly awaited debut extended play ‘2 in 1’.
Darkoo, since her rise to limelight in 2019 with her One Acen-assisted ‘Gangsta’ record has maintained the pace of good run with every release. Her latest project, 2 in 1 houses a strain of sultry Afroswing that leaves plenty of room for Darkoo to pull from a range of other sounds, not least the melodic drill sounds of “Come Up” with Unknown T.
Filling the guest slots, Darkoo called on some of U.K’s biggest music superstars like Unknown T, Tion Wayne, Blanco and Gabzy.
The seven tracklist tape is unfaltering belief of Darkoo’s songwriting prowess and vocal range. More than that, it also gives us an outward look at what she can do long lenth projects, revealing a personal, sensual and romantic side to the artist.
