The winners of the Ghana DJ Awards 2020 has finally been announced. This years edition was held at the Silver Star Tower on November 22, 2020.
The awards which was organized by Merqury Republic seeks to award the country’s best disc jockeys was hosted by popular radio show host, Andy Dosty and graced by with performances from Shatta Wale, Wendy Shay, Dope Nation, Bosom P-Yung, and others.
The night of the event saw DJ Vyrusky adjudged the DJ of the Year.
This is Vyrusky’s third time winning the ultimate award, having won it consecutively in 2017 and 2018.
He also reclaims the crown from 12-year-old Erica ‘DJ Switch’ Tandoh, who won the award last year. At this year’s ceremony, Tandoh was named Best Young DJ of the Year. Other winners on the night included DJ Vacation, DJ Toyor, DJ Ohemaa Woyeje and DJ Akel.
