The feature came as a result of a standing agreement between the company and Artiste to have his latest project, ‘Addicted’ listed for promotional purposes. In his own words, the Teshie-born song-writer described the deal as “an open door to the next level” of his career. He also added that it’s also recognition of his effort as an artiste from Ghana pushing positivity and self-consciousness through reggae music.

On the growing connection between Ghana and the Diaspora, King Kome believes it’s a great initiative to reunite black brother and sisters who has been away from the motherland for many years due to slavery. He also added that the cross culture collaboration in terms of travel and music should be welcomed and given enough financial support.

He highlighted the recent collaboration between Stonebwoy and Beenieman, Etana with Stonebwoy, Shatta wale on winning IRawma among others as a bond that should be strengthened.

He also lauded the government of Ghana and Jamaica respectively for plans to start direct flights to both countries. He also urges them not to relent on their effort.

Born Nii Adjetey – King Kome’s journey as a musician was highly inspired by Ghanaian musicians; Shatta wale, Stonebwoy and Samini. On the international front, he also emulates steps of the legendary Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Eric Donaldson and South African iconic reggae musician, Lucky Dube.

He’s currently trading his career under the management of Afamah Ent, an independent management company in Ghana.
