Ghanaian Afrobeat prodigy, Gregory Bortey Newman, better known as King Promise has expressed his dissatisfaction with Wizkid’s surprising loss at the 64th Grammy Awards.
Wizkid lost in two categories at the 2022 Grammys, and King Promise believes it should not have happened.
The recording academy’s choice to disregard Wizkid was “crazy,” according to King Promise, who recently hosted his first headline show in Lagos.
Wizkid hasn’t even unleashed the surface of his talent, according to the singer-songwriter in an interview with BEAT FM, who also stated that he has more mind-blowing works coming for the fans. King Promise also discussed his career, new projects, upcoming music tours, and a variety of other things.
