The reigning Ghanaian hype man of the year and Radio personality Kojo Manuel (real name Kojo Kusi Nyantakyi) is the host of the new exciting musical television show ‘Play by Ear’.
Play by Ear is a new show premiering on Akwaaba Magic on 22nd February at 7pm. It is a musical game show like no other that tests the musical knowledge of contestants. The contestants are made up of a blend of celebrity guests and music lovers.
Known as one of the finest hosts and hype men in Ghana, Kojo Manuel has grown his brand in the media space and is one of the most sought after talents now. He is the host of the drYve of your lyfe on Yfm, and has his own podcast on Lynx TV named ‘The Mile 7’. He also his channel ‘A Mad Network’, that focuses on covering some of the major events he hosts.
However, hosting Play by Ear is another major milestone in his career.
“It’s a MAD feeling to host a music game show on Akwaaba Magic that focuses on Ghanaian music. the most fun i’ve had in a while,” Kojo Manuel shared.
Kojo Manuel radio show the drYve of your lyfe recently won the Late Afternoon Radio show at the RTP Awards. He was also named the best hype man by the Ghana DJ Awards. He recently launched his Merch collection – ‘Mad Merch’ that can be seen on the main cover art for Play by Ear.
Play by Ear is produced by TerraMedia and airs every Thursday at 7pm on Akwaaba Magic on DStv channel 150 and GoTV Channel 102.
