Life Living Records fast-rising rapper  , Kwaku DMC becomes the first rapper to be featured on Virgil Abloh’s ‘Televised Radio’ on Apple Music. Wondering what the Televised Radio is about?

“Televised Radio” is a new Apple Music show from visionary artist and designer Virgil Abloh. In Virgil’s own words: “It is a show about painting pictures with words; an audio mood board that will treat brand-new songs and timeless tracks with the same level of importance.” Broadcasting from Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris, “TELEVISED RADIO” will feature conversations about art and design, live mixes from Virgil’s DJ sets abroad, and a continuously rotating cast of special guests and up-and-coming artists.

Virgil Abloh has been lending a lot of support to the newly formed Asakaa genre spearheaded by the Kumericans. He’s lauded their works on some of the world’s most renowned media platforms.

On this week’s edition of Televised Radio , he interviewed Kwaku DMC where they spoke about the evolving Asakaa genre and other fast-rising Kumasi based rappers. Kwaku DMC touched on some vital issues when he was asked about the reception given to them by the people of Ghana.

He did complain bitterly about lack of support from media houses and moguls who can help catapult the movement with their voices. He further went to seek for support from Virgil for his forthcoming and that of his colleagues. Virgil without hesitation agreed to support them whenever they call on him.

The interview ended with a DJ Mix by Virgil Abloh of songs made in Kumerica.
