In the past decade, there has been a growth of music lovers with big, hungry ears ready to gobble up all the classic Afro-funk and Afrobeat from West Africa they can get their lobes around.
Having already attempted the fusion of Afrobeat and Funk music with Asabone featuring Bosom P-Yung, Lord Paper pursues it again in his latest output titled ‘Skin Pain’ featuring rising Ghanaian singer-songwriter, Mr. Drew.
In ‘Skin Pain’, Lord Paper and Mr. Drew trade honeyed verses over a catchy piano theme with a strong sequencer bassline, strong drum beats and lush synth textures laced together by the usual suspect on the production fronts, Gomezbeatx.
