Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Samuel Frimpong popularly known as Medikal is in the grips of the police for unlawful brandishing of a weapon specifically a gun in a video on social media.
This comes hard on the heels of the arrest of Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale and four other people who were remanded into police custody following a purported gun attack that turned out to be a practical joke.
They were remanded by an Accra Circuit Court on Thursday, October 21, 2021, during their first appearance in court.
Shatta Wale was picked up by the police for‘ creating and circulating of information intended to cause fear and panic’
