Mus announces the release of his single Swe which will be his first single since he released his last EP Sounds From Mus Vol 1 in April 2020.

His last EP, Sounds from Mus Volume 1 was well received on social media and caught the attention of Industry heavyweights such as Reekado Banks, Ladipoe, Ruby Gyang, Douglas Jekan who reached out to commend him on the EP & also ShowDemCamp who previewed the Ep on a joint Instagram live session with Mus.
In this follow up single Mus expresses his feelings for his love interest and he talks about how he is willing to go the distance to win her affections and open how up to a brand new world/experiences.
Swe was produced by Calliemajik, and the cover art was designed by Mus. The cover art conveys how he hopes to show her new experiences if she is open.

Mus is a Lagos Born Singer/Songwriter and Rapper who is currently based in Russia. He defines his music as a perfect blend between Soul and Afrobeats, with a crisp blend of smooth yoruba into his lyrics a calm and soothing vibe can be felt.
For him music started back in secondary school as a hobby where he eventually joined a group called YFB(Young Fresh Ballers) as a rapper, Together they released several songs as a group in the space of 2 years before launching his solo career releasing several songs which marked the start of a progressive career
Prior to getting into medical school he had to take an understandable break from making music, Till he surprisingly made a come back with “Encore Freestyle” accompanied by soothing visuals to the song.
This move surpassed expectations as fans of the young artiste expected a typical hiphop song but this was a different sound from what they were used to out as he claimed to have been working on a fresh distinct sound on his long break.
Fast forward to a couple months later “Pull Up Freestyle” was released. produced by Killervybez which became the start of a 6 track Ep which was released the following year.
The Ep, Sounds from Mus Volume 1 dropped April 2020 and went viral with fans sending short clips and generally accepting this ‘New Sound’ and it caught the attention of Industry heavyweights such as Reekado Banks, Ladipoe, Ruby Gyang, Douglas Jekan who reached out to commend him on the EP & also ShowDemCamp who previewed the Ep on a joint Instagram live session with Mus.
It wasn’t long before Music Mogul Teebillz caught the ‘Mus Virus’ and got really interested in investing in Mus’s sound.
While doing outrageous numbers for an independent artiste on the SFMV1 project, The visuals for the fans favorite ‘Wa’ (which is available youtube) was released and has generated over 1500 views. The Ep in general has accumulated over 100,000 plays on all platforms .
The success of the Ep came as a shock to him as most of the songs were created during his break, put together and created the masterpiece we have today.
Mus’s listeners which includes fans and the few big names in the industry have described his sound as “really fresh and never heard before”
