UK based Nigerian DJ, Manager and Promoter Richard Anokwuru Emeka Amadi , popularly known as DJ Meks Richard, is the only London based Nigerian DJ on the 2021 Nigeria Achievers Awards (NAA-Season 7) nominee list.
The Eti-Osa native was nominated in a category, Outstanding DJ of the Year (diaspora), an award won by several DJs in the diaspora over the years.
Nigeria Achievers Awards launched the category to honour DJs in the diaspora for the contribution to Nigeria’s entertainment.
The renowned DJ will be contending with DJs from across Europe and America.
The award will be presented on-stage during the live broadcast.
Nigeria Achievers Awards began inspiring the next generation through the celebration of great achievements in all work of lives.
More than 100 Nigerians home and in the diaspora have been nominated across all categories.
Meanwhile, this year’s edition of the prestigious award ceremony, comes off on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Excellence Hotel and Conference Centre, Ikeja-Lagos, Nigeria.
This year’s event is theme” Your Dream is Valid”.
