Spokesperson of the Nigerian police service in Lagos, Benjamin Hundeyi, confirmed the death of Davido‘s son, Ifeanyi on Tuesday morning.
According to him, the 3-year-old died in an alleged swimming pool accident.
Mr Hudeyin disclosed that following the incident, some aides and staff of the 30BG crooner have been arrested as part of ongoing investigation.
“Eight of them (workers) have been brought in for questioning,” he said.
However, he did not disclose the location because he feared people might besiege the station.
Davido’s child, Ifeanyi Adeleke, died from drowning in a family swimming pool at Lagos on Monday, October 31.
He was allegedly rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, some celebrities and fans of the musician have expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.
