Olamide Reunites With Asake on New Single “99” Featuring Seyi Vibez, Young Jonn & Daecolm
Nigerian rap legend Olamide has released his explosive new single “99”, marking a highly-anticipated reunion with former YBNL signee Asake. The track serves as the third pre-release single from his upcoming self-titled 11th studio album, Olamide, dropping June 18, 2025.
Produced by Willis, “99” brings together an all-star lineup including street-hop star Seyi Vibez, hitmaker Young Jonn, and British singer Daecolm. The song blends Olamide’s signature street rap with vibrant Afro-house rhythms, creating the ultimate summer anthem.
The release comes just months after Asake’s departure from YBNL Nation to launch his own Giran Republic label, making their musical reunion particularly noteworthy. “99” follows previous album singles “Hello Habibi”, “Metaverse”, and “Uptown Disco” (featuring Asake and Fireboy DML).
With the album’s 17-track listing also including a Wizkid collaboration (“Kai”), Olamide is poised to be one of 2025’s biggest Afrobeats releases.
