Jay Bahd – Anadwo

Demon SZN is here! This year, Asakaa poster boy Jay Bahd released an excellent compilation of songs spanning many soundscapes. He has proven that he is not a one-day sensation by continuing on his current course.

This week, Jay Bahd confirmed a tune to end the year with. He has kept his word by releasing the thrilling tune “Anadwo.”

The song, which was produced by Vacs, is a sequel to one of his earlier singles, “Badman,” which was also a Vacs production.

Black Sherif & EMPIRE – Run

American music label EMPIRE teams up with Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif for the song ‘RUN,’ the eleventh track housed under the label’s compilation ‘Where We Come From, Vol. 1.’

EMPIRE has now availed their eagerly awaited compilation, Where We Come From, Vol. 1. Some of their hottest performers are featured on the body of work, which spans 40 minutes and 15 tracks. Wande Coal, Kuami Eugine, Black Sherif, Kizz Daniel, Asake, Olamide, BNXN (aka Buju), Fireboy DML, L.A.X, and other music stars make guest performances on the compilation album “Where We Come From Vol. 1,” which claims to be a star-studded effort.

Pheelz – Ballin

Since becoming famous for his BNXN-aided Finesse, Pheelz has had an astounding winning streak that is nothing short of amazing.

When many began to question his musical ability because he was best known for his production skills, he released “Electricity” with Nigerian Afrobeat musician Davido.

Pheelz keeps things going with his subsequent solo effort, “Ballin.”

Maleek Berry – Ole Gan

Maleek Berry’s return to the music industry has been nothing short of greatness. Maleek Berry released his first song since his lengthy break, “My Way,” a few weeks ago. Today, he’s back with another.

Ole Gan is the name of a brand-new tune that Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Maleek Berry just dropped. The song will lead listeners to his upcoming project, which is currently under development.

Darkovibes – YAO

Have you ever heard Darkovibes rap? You’re in for a surprise if the answer is no. The Ghanaian Afrobeat/Afropop musician reacquaints his fans and listeners with his rapping skills, a skill that was highly regarded during the peak of the La Meme Gang collective, of which he was a member.

In his most recent hip-hop song, named “YAO,” Darkovibes seamlessly switches between singing and rapping in Patois, Pidgin English, and GA.

Darkovibes’ fantasies about women and living his best life are discussed in the Killbeatz-produced song.

Mayorkun – Oshey Boys & Alarm

Mayorkun Launches Into December With Two New Single ‘Alarm‘ and ‘Oshey Boys.’

Mayorkun promised his fans a new music binge weeks ago, and he’s keeping his word. Mayorkun’s outstanding string of collaborations includes guest spots on songs like Oxlade’s Bad Boy, Ajebo Hustlers’ No Love (18 Plus), and Teni’s Maitama, among others.

Mayorkun’s solo career has also been, to put it mildly, spectacular. He previously released the well-received Certified Loner (No Competition), which was produced by Clemzy, back in June. Now, he’s back with two sultry tracks to round out the year.

Alarm and Oshey Boys are two brand-new tracks from Mayorkun. Elton Chukwumah Chukwuka and Magicsticks, respectively, produced both songs.

Flavour – Game Changer (Dike)

Flavour, a seasoned singer and songwriter from Nigeria, is ending the year with another hit.

The seasoned Nigerian musician’s latest hit, titled “Game Changer (Dike),” talks about his influence and impact on the Nigerian music industry.

The song, which was created by Masterkraft, is a sequel to Flavour’s single “My Sweetie.”

Mavins – Chapter X

The record label founded in 2012 by Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, producer and entrepreneur Don Jazzy marks its 10th anniversary with the release of Chapter X, a collaborative project that showcases its top talent. “I feel like we used these 10 years to grow and figure out how to do most things,” Don Jazzy (aka Michael Collins Ajereh) tells Apple Music. “I think Afrobeats in general, for the past 10 years, was gathering steam. Now we know what the music business entails, and we’re ready for it. This next phase is just going to be the floodgates opening.”

Mavin Records has been the incubator and development hub for some of the biggest names in African music, launching the careers of artists like Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Reekado Banks, Iyanya and Korede Bello. A celebration of life and family, Chapter X brings together the label’s current roster of established and emerging superstars, including Rema, LADIPOE, Magixx, Crayon, Ayra Starr and Boy Spyce. “At the rate at which this younger generation of musicians is growing, they’re going to rule the world,” Don Jazzy explains. “I have no doubt about it.”

M.anifest – Madina To The Universe (The Epilogue)

The end of the year is quickly approaching, and renowned Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has released a new project. The latest work by M.anifest is a follow-up to his fourth studio album, “Madina To The Universe,” which featured artists like M3nsa, Ladipoe, Vic Mensa, Adekunle Gold, and others.

M.anifest follows up on his previous studio effort with ‘Madina To The Universe (The Epilogue),’ featuring contributions from Wavypae, Alee, Anik Khan, and M.I. Abaga.

Taking into account the reviews, the production, the arrangement, and everything else that goes into a decent record, the entire “Madina To The Universe” effort has been a success.
