Registering as his second single of the year after the success of ‘Mood,’ Mr. Drew recruits the services of talented record producer Beatz Vampire once more who brings to life, this drill record which was initially performed by Drew in a freestyle video he posted on his social media timelines.

Lady Donli – Searching

Nigerian singer-songwriter, Lady Donli returns from a brief hiatus with a new solo effort titled ‘Searching’.

Lady Donli announces her come-back with a rich textured Afropop tune titled ‘Searching’  , produced by Nigerian record producer, ThatBoyGMK.

She announced the release of this single on her social media via her Instagram page, apprising her followers, the need for the break she took. She wrote;

Like so many people, last year I was badly searching for answers.. I made this song from a place of pain but I’m happy knowing it’s brought me peace and light and will do the same and so much more for other people. “Searching” my first single of the year, produced by @thatboygmk out NOW !

$pacely ft. Kawabanga & Kwaku DMC – Ofr3

Ghanaian recording music artist, $pacely makes his headline account for the year with this drill inspired song titled ‘Ofr3’ featuring Asakaa linchpins, Kwaku DMC and Kawabanga.

Apparently, ‘Ofr3’ is off $pacely’s impending extended play dubbed ‘Keanu’.

Black Sherif – Second Sermon

With ‘First Sermon’ almost hitting a million views on YouTube, Black Sherif drops the second single off his upcoming album titled ‘Second Sermon‘.

On ‘Second Sermon‘, the Konongo-based rapper and singer describes the struggles and hustle the majority of Ghanaian youths face before they make ends meet.

“I am just trying to describing the day-to-day lifestyle of my boys on the streets. It took me so much courage to voice this out, but this is our truth. I don’t speak for only myself, I pray God bless every young person on the street trying hard to make ends meet.”

On another verse of the song, Black Sherif pays tribute to his angel. Blacko said, “This is me sending a message to my people at home (Konongo). I also dedicated this one to my Angel, Sister Mariama (RIP).”

Second Sermon is a fusion of trap and highlife, produced by Stallion.

Moelogo ft. Reekado Banks – One Time

Nigerian born South-London based singer and songwriter, Moelogo adds to his plethora of sublime records, this Afropop song titled ‘One Time’.

Featuring Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Reekado Banks, the duo lay cloying verses, one that is possible to catch any listener’s attention.

‘One Time’ is off Moelogo’s impending project ‘ItheEP’, scheduled to drop on the 30th of July 2021. The project, the final part of the trilogy project he decided to work on, having earlier dropped two parts- ‘Me-EP’ & ‘Myself-EP’ last year, will also feature other acts like Adekunle Gold, LAX, The Cavemen, Alpha Ojini, QDOT, Bella Shmurda, Ria Sean, Krishane, & Laycon.

London-based Nigerian singer, Darkoo has a released new single titled ‘Slow Down’ featuring British rapper, Tion Wayne. Accompanied by Teeeezy C directed visual, Darkoo and Tion Wayne deliver a sublime record for the summer season.

Previously, Darkoo and Tion Wayne have together on the remixes of Russ’ viral Body Remix and Darkoo’s Gangsta Remix. Their clear-cut chemistry is noticeable in this easy-to-vibe-to tune.
