Bella Shmurda and Popcaan connect for the Afrobeat song titled ‘So Cold’ and it follows the release of the visuals for ‘Far Away’ housed under Bella’s ‘High Tension 2.0’.

This huge collaboration is a step in the right direction and a clear indication of Bella Shmurda’s position as one of the current exporters of the Afrobeat genre.

P.Montana is known as the forefather of the UK Afrobeats scene, as he is apart of The Official UK Afrobeats Chart Show with Eddie Kadi, Shopsy Doo and Danai Mavunga. Along with hosting the most popular Afrobeats music platform GHB2B – showcasing Afrobeats worldwide with an average weekly audience of over 3000 people on YouTube and MixCloud. This platform has featured the likes of Juls, DJ Neptizzle, Ramz, Afro B, DJ Tiiny (Stormzy’s Official DJ), YBE (J Hus’ Official DJ’s) Priscilla Anyabu (Love Island) plus more.

P. Montana has been on the Amapiano radar for sometime now with the tune ‘Fuego’ which features two of Ghana’s rising music acts, Camidoh and Twitch 4Eva. In his endeavour to achieve more success, P. Montana follows through with a long format studio project titled ‘Nsuo (The Mixtape)’, an Akan word which translates to ‘Water’ in literal terms.

Cina Soul ft. KiDi – Feelings

The Ghanaian singer-songwriter has official released the full length audio for her earlier announced debut single for the year titled ‘Feelings’.  Featuring Lynx Entertainment’s ‘Golden Boy’ KiDi, the duo communicate their feelings for each other by trading cloying verses in this super sweet ballad.

Kidi and Cina Soul have collectively worked on songs like ‘Say You Love Me’ housed under Kidi’s Sugar album and Baddo, off Cina’s Metanoia extended play.  Their team up gets better with every release and ‘Feelings’ is not an exception.

Uche B ft. Kwesi Arthur – Ghetto Vigilante

Ghana based Nigerian born record producer and artist, Uche B has a plethora of massive productions to his name. Uche B may not be recognized by many in the music space but has produced big records like Kwesi Arthur’s Walk featuring South African rapper, Nasty C, Different by Darkovibes, Ginger Me by J.Derobie and many others.

The prolific producer makes his headline account for the year as a producer and music artist. He connects with multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper and singer, Kwesi Arthur for his first single for the year titled ‘Ghetto Vigilante’.

Wizkid ft. Buju – Mood

Nigerian international Afrobeat icon, Wizkid unveils the deluxe edition of his successfully released ‘Made In Lagos’ studio project. The deluxe edition welcomes four new songs and collaborations with Canadian Pop star, Justin Bieber and rising Nigerian singer-songwriter, Buju.

What a week it has been in the Afrobeat music space.  On the 24th of August 2021, we witnessed a remarkable epoch with the collaboration between Burna Boy and Don Jazzy, a song titled ‘Question’.

Shortly after, another remarkable event follows. Wizkid releases his keenly awaited long-length deluxe edition for his highly acclaimed ‘Made In Lagos’ album. Prior to the release of this project, Wizkid teamed up with Canadian Pop singer, Justin Bieber and Tems for the remix of his top charting masterpiece ‘Essence’. The release followed with the official announcement for the release of the deluxe edition in a series of tweets shared on Wizkid’s timeline including pre-order links.

Furthermore, the deluxe edition makes way for four new sublime songs including the remix of Essence, summing up the songs on the project to a total of eighteen. Apart from the previous features, Justin Bieber and Buju are the new acts featured on the body of work.

Wizkid has been on a winning streak with the previous edition of the Made In Lagos album. He recently sold out the 02 Arena in 12 minutes after announcing the sale of tickets for his Made In Lagos UK Concert in October. Wizkid’s mission to expand Afrobeat to other parts of the world is half complete with the previously released ‘Made In Lagos’ album being one of the major exporters of Afrobeat and its sub genres.

WSTRN ft. Fireboy DML – Be My Guest

British Afro-swing collective from West London, WSTRN consisting of Akelle Charles, Haile (born Ras Haile Alexander), and Louis Rei (born Louis-Rae Beadle). Their debut single, “In2”, was released on 20 July 2015, and peaked at number 4 on the UK Singles Chart.

In their strive to achieve a territorial growth, WSTRN connects with Nigerian serial hitmaker and YBNL’s poster boy, Fireboy DML to create this summer-worthy Afro-fused tune titled ‘Be My Guest’.

Cabum ft. Braa Benk, Jay Bahd, O’Kenneth & Reggie – Tukye

Veteran Ghanaian rapper, Cabum combines effort with Kumasi’s trailblazers of the Asakaa genre , Braa Benk, ReggieJay Bahd and O’Kenneth for this posse cut of the drill genre titled ‘Tukye’.

Cabum played a pivotal role during the inception of the ‘Kumerica‘ phenomenon. This collaboration is long over due and certainly inevitable.

Lyrical Joe ft. Fameye – Far Away

2MG Music rapper – Lyrical Joe finally drops his much anticipated maiden EP titled ‘Vibes’.

The highly rated lyricist serves us with his 7-track body of work which features Strongman, Ko-jo Cue, CamidohFameyeTulenkey and Kofi Mole.
