Naira Marley – O’dun ft. Zinoleesky

Nigerian street-hop artiste, Naira Marley has released a new single titled ‘O’dun,’ in which he teams up with Zinoleesky, one of his proteges. The latest track from Naira Marley’s highly awaited debut album ‘God’s Timings The Best’ is O’dun, which means something pleasant in Yoruba.

‘O’dun,’ produced by Grammy-winning music producer Rexxie, is Naira Marley’s first official single of the year. It’s the sequel to ‘Kojosese,’ which was released in December 2021.

King Promise – Ginger

As we eagerly anticipate his sophomore album, talented Ghanaian singer-songwriter King Promise settles the nerves of his fans with a new song he titles ‘Ginger’, produced by Grammy-winning producer JAE5.

Ginger‘ is King Promise’s first official output of the year following the success of his Patoraking assisted ‘Chop Life‘.

Prior to this release as well, King Promise joined Camidoh on the remix of Sugarcane along with Mayorkun and Darkoo. The ‘Sugarcane Remix’ is currently the #1 on Apple Music’s Top 100 Nigeria and also the second Ghanaian song to accomplish this feat.

Stonebwoy – Therapy

BET Award winner – Stonebwoy unlocks this brand-new song titled ‘Therapy’. The Ghanaian Reggae-dancehall artiste serves listeners with this low-tempo and beautifully crafted music. Stonebwoy oozes class on ‘Therapy’, which is his first-ever single for the year 2022.

DJAkuaa ft. Kweku Afro – Chargie

Chargie” is about something everyone can relate to – an exciting crush & a little bit of romance. Kweku Afro’s smooth vocals blend over a crisp beat produced by APYA. Sexy saxophone dances throughout the song, making this song equal parts seductive and fun.

Tripcy ft. Davido, Lady Du & DJ Pee Raven – Freeway (Remix)

Tripcy releases the much anticipated remix to his Christmas banger ‘Freeway’

The Ghanaian artiste recruited Nigerian superstar Davido on the remix of one of the most exciting songs enjoyed by patrons of Detty December in Ghana.

The record also features South Africa’s amapiano queen, Lady Du, lacing the record with her unique sizzling voice, rapping in English and Zulu.

Produced by Ameno Amapiano global hitmaker, Nektunez, this record is positioned to be a favorite for all who love African music and culture.

Kizz Daniel ft. Tekno – Buga

Nigerian Afrobeat acts, Kizz Daniel and Tekno usher us into the new month of May with a catchy and mellifluous song titled ‘Buga.’ After the first listen, you’ll undoubtedly be moving your body thanks to the song’s jam-packed nature.

Buga,’ co-produced by Blaise Beatz and Young Willis, is Kizz Daniel’s first official release of the year, following the release of his critically acclaimed extended play ‘Barnabas.’ Tekno, on the other hand, has already released two amazing singles, ‘Mufasa’ and ‘Jinja.’ The singer, songwriter, and record producer, who took a hiatus from the music industry in 2021, is back with new music.

Smallgod ft. Kuami Eugene & BNXN – I Know

‘I Know’ is the eleventh track housed under Smallgod’s sophomore album ‘Connecting The Dots’ and it features Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer Kuami Eugene along with Nigerian singer-songwriter BNXN fka Buju.

Speaking on the creative process behind this song, Smallgod said;

“A lot of the artists sound the same; their voices, transitions or the way they write. But there’s something special about BNXN. His energy, the way everything with him is just happiness. I needed a song over which you can enjoy having a conversation, enjoy hearing in a rooftop bar, in the corridors of a shopping mall, when you’re on the elevator or when you’re driving. So we needed something for a different mood. BNXN recorded his verse first, so he controlled how the song goes. I brought in Kuami Eugene; he’s normally the club banger kind of guy. A lot of artists would be like, ‘No, I’m not comfortable.’ But he said, ‘Yo, let me try’. Kuami is a complete artist.
