Ghanaian Reggae Dancehall heavyweight, Kojo Krankye widely known as Ras Kuuku was crowned the Reggae/Dancehall Artist of the Year at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
After the unusual break-in-calendar of the 21st Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Charterhouse announced a comeback as organizers and partners settled on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th August as the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Festival Weekend.
The ‘Wo‘ hitmaker beat Epixode, J.Derobie, Samini, AK Songstress and Jupitar to become the third artist to win the category since its introduction.
However, Stonebwoy holds the record for the most (3) Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year.
Ras Kuuku during the year under review was immense and rightly deserves the plaque. Congratulations to Ras Kuuku and his Poum Team.
