About Tahgi

Formally known as Tahgi Turner, Tahgi is multi-faceted producer, songwriter, rapper and sound engineer representing East Cleveland, Ohio with his demanding charm and enchanting flow.
Tahgi tapped into his desire to create music during the early stages of his childhood. He recalls creating make-shift instruments out of pots and pans from his kitchen cabinets to perform what is known as “building a beat”.

From here, Tahgi went on to produce his first track at the age of 13 and the rest is history. Well versed in the guitar and cello by way of the Cleveland Institute of Music, Tahgi has mastered the foundation of song making – production.

This upper hand has enabled him to create his own quality tracks that have allowed him to thrive in his own dimension as an artist. He strategically, yet uniquely, combines the arts of Rock and Hip-Hop all while engrossing his audience one verse at a time. His star quality has landed him placement on MTV News, recognition from Cleveland’s very own 55Bagz and 1st Place in a Notorious B.I.G Instagram Challenge.

Tahgi is inspired by the likes of Kanye West and Jack Antonoff. The combination of streetwear culture and couture is another driving force behind his music, some of his favorite brands being Comme Des Garcons, Junya Watanabe and many alike. As an artist, Tahgi is often described as an enigma and his style can be compared to that of Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and Baby Keem.
