All across the world and in North America, Afrobeats are in vogue. Since then, Nigerian musicians have secured collaborations with some of the biggest names in the world, who are eager to collaborate with them. Hits like “Essence Remix,” “For My Hand,” “Peru,” and most recently, “Calm Down Remix” were created as a result of the collaborations.
Usher has been busiest this year, performing to ecstatic crowds as part of his “My Way” residency in Las Vegas. He recently made headlines when he was seen in the recording studio with Afrobeats superstar Davido. We all haven’t stopped talking about it since images and videos of the two in the studio appeared on social media.
We are ecstatic because we can smell something cooking. Previously, Davido and DaBaby released a collaboration for which they created gorgeous visuals. We really can’t wait for whatever the two have been working on in the studio, so maybe it will be released soon.
