Nigeria’s Afrobeat icon and pioneer, Wizkid has won the ‘Best African Act‘ category at the MOBO Awards 2020.
The ‘Made In Lagos‘ hitmaker beats Ghanaian dancehall heavyweight, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy as well as other top stars such as Burna Boy, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Fireboy DML, Rema, Master KG, Adekunle Gold, NSG, Afro B to win the award.
This was announced via MOBO Awards official Twitter page on the 9th of December 2020 where they congratulated Wizkid.
