Following the successes of his previous releases 1st Sermon, 2nd Sermon, and the remix of 2nd Sermon last year, Black Sherif made his headline account for the year with the official music video for Second Sermon Remix featuring multiple award-winning Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy.
In his bid to maintain his exponential growth, he dished out another monster track titled ‘Kwaku The Traveller‘. Within 48 hours of release, he scored a career milestone on Apple Music Top 100 Ghana, Top 100 Nigeria, Spotify Top 100 Nigeria and Audiomack.
On Apple Music, Black Sherif’s Kwaku The Traveller peaked #1 on the Top 100 Ghana within few hours release and 8th on Top 100 Nigeria. As of today, Kwaku The Traveller is moved to the #1 spot on the highly competitive Nigerian Top 100. This makes Black Sherif the first Ghanaian musician in the history of Ghana music to achieve this feat.
Also on Spotify, Black Sherif peaked at the second spot on Top 100 Nigeria.
On Audiomack, Kwaku The Traveller garnered over 1 million streams within 48 hours of release, a record-breaking feat achieved by the talented lad.
This is a significant achievement for the Ghanaian musician because it comes before the success of the ‘Second Sermon’ remix, which featured Burna Boy and reached number two on the charts.
