Black Sherif Makes Youtube’s Foundry Class of 2022

Talented Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif has been selected for the YouTube Foundry Class of 2022.

Foundry is YouTube Music’s worldwide artiste development initiative, which was introduced in 2015. It supports the independent music industry and gives musicians access to tools and resources that will help them succeed on YouTube and forge successful independent careers.

Independent artists chosen for Foundry receive devoted support from a YouTube partner manager, seed money invested in the growth of their channels, possibilities for marketing and promotion, access to new product features, and chances to offer feedback.

When an artist works with independent labels and distribution partners to further their careers on their own behalf, they are said to be independent. Directly signed major label artists are not eligible for Foundry.

Black Sherif’s global appeal is growing as a result of the release of the first and second Sermon installments, as well as the subsequent release of “Kwaku The Traveller,” as his style appeals to a wide range of demographics and geographic regions, making him a featured artist on numerous playlists across the spectrum of digital stream platforms.
