Mayorkun collaborates with South-African recording music acts, Kabza Da Small and DJ Maphorisa on the song ‘Jay Jay’, the eleventh track on the ‘Back In Office‘ album.
Talented Nigerian music composer, Mayorkun officially premieres his keenly awaited sophomore album titled ‘Back In Office’ and it features the likes of Ghanaian singer-songwriter, Gyakie, Flavour, DJ Maphorisa, Joeboy and Victony.
Prior to the release of this project, the Mayor of Lagos as also referred to as gave listeners a glimpse of what to expect on the album with release of songs like ‘Let Me Know’, Back In Office’ and the Victony assisted ‘Holy Father’. All three releases have performed immensely well across all digital streaming platforms and met with positive feedbacks from listeners and critics.
Mayorkun has not released any project since his debut album, The Mayor of Lagos dropped three years ago. The album which housed bangers like Bobo, Mama, Che Che, Tire and more cemented his place as one of the most consistent hitmakers in the African continent.
Furthermore Back In Office is Mayorkun’s second studio album and it is a 12-song project. He collaborates Ghanaian songbird, Gyakie on the song titled Desire, while South Africa’s DJ Maphorisa features on the amapiano inspired tune, Jay Jay. Other featured acts on the album include Nigerian singers; Joeboy, Flavour, and Victony on the buzzing tune Holy Father.
