What a year Temilade Openiyi professionally known as Tems is having. It is alleged the Nigerian singer-songstress and producer will be contributing as a guest artist on Drake’s impending album ‘Certified Lover Boy’.
Drake, in a series of billboards across several cities has unveiled Tems, Young Thug, Future, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Giveon, and Ty Dolla $ign as guests.
The album is scheduled for release on Friday September 3rd, 2021 and Drake has begun to announce some of the guests on his new project.
Apparently, Certified Lover Boy was slated for release earlier in January but was delayed due to Drake’s recovery from knee operation.
Tems, who played a pivotal role in the success of Wizkid’s acclaimed ‘Essence’ has also been announced as the most streamed African female artist on Spotify with monthly listeners of about 8 million.
Her unique voice, delivery and clear cut lyrical prowess is striking, reason the 26 year old singer standouts amongst her equals.
